The Oh So Good Fall Launch From Kyte Baby

The Oh So Good Fall Launch From Kyte Baby

The Softest Clothing Hands Down

If you haven’t tried the brand Kyte Baby before, well its definitely time you do. I was introduced to it a few years ago and I thought it was absolutley ridiculous to spend $33 on a pair of pajamas. I wish I did it sooner!

Kyte baby is an expensive clothing brand. All of their products are made from 97% bamboo viscose. They have the slinkiest, softest

range of baby and toddler clothes. But their clothing isn’t just worth the money because it’s incredibly soft. Because the products contain 3% spandex and are significantly stretchier than your typical cotton blends, they last an incredibly long time! Seriously, my baby hasn’t grown out of any clothes from Kyte Baby since May, and it is October 7th. However we have donated and gotten rid of TONS of clothing from target and carters in that time.

Kyte Baby kicked off the fall with one of their largest releases yet! We bought quite a few colors. Olive a deep dark green, nutmeg a rich orangey/brown color, and Clementine which looks exactly like a pumpkin. Of course we had to add a few pumpkin prints. My favorite item was definitley this pumpkin swaddle. Although super thin, its quite a large blanket. It can be folded 3 times for the perfect little car seat blanket, or great for sitting on for fall photos like we did at the pumpkin patch!

The Minor Problem

The only downside to Kyte Baby has been their shipping times. Don’t order these items if your in a pinch. It seems like the brand is experiencing growing pains and is taking 5-9 business days to get items shipped. It has taken 12 days for me to get seasonal, limited edition items. However Kyte has an amazon store and you get find tons of their classic solid prints here. I love the toddler pjs. I recommend sizing up one size. They do fit true to size, but sizing up will make them last even longer!

Basics I love

Another item I recently tried and fell in love with is the sleep bag walker. Now that my (almost 10 month old tomorrow) is standing, the sleep bag walker is perfect for him. He’s able to stand in his crib without tripping over the bag. They come in different “togs” or thicknesses. 0.5 being the thinnest, for warm weather and climates. 1.0 being a great year round tog, even in the summer in an air conditioned house. 2.5 I would call a winter or cold weather climate tog, as it would be way too hot for warm weather, but perfect for cold winter nights and drafty bedrooms. They are pricy, but they will last a while! their sizes range from 6-18 months, 18-36 months and even a 4T on these. They are meant to last your baby a full year!

Their onesies although $20 a piece are great! I might hold off on the smallest sizes as they only are meant to last 3 months.0-3 and 3-6. But once your baby gets a little bigger they are made to last 6, coming in sizes 6-12, 12-18, 18-24. They really do last long. Again the stretch and quality make it so your baby could wear the same size onesies for months at a time. Be sure to read the instructions for washing on the tags. Because they are made from bamboo they are a little more delicate than other fabrics. It is recommended that you wash like fabrics, other bamboo blends together, inside out and zipped, on a delicate cycle with free and clear detergent. My favorite is Tide Free and Gentle. After washing, it is recommended to hang dry to avoid pilling. I have also thrown them in the dryer and never have a problem so long as it dries on a delicate or LOW HEAT cycle.
